Acorn TV联手Channel 5制作罪案剧《达格利什 Dalgliesh》，《福斯特医生》的Bertie Carvel饰演标题人物。首季共6集，2集一个故事，12月份将在北爱尔兰开始制作。
本剧由全女性团队打造，改编自P. D. James(图2)的系列小说《Inspector Dalgliesh Mysteries》，将会追溯Dalgliesh从上世纪七十年代的英格兰一直到如今打击犯罪的职业生涯，每个故事都会聚焦他破解一桩不寻常的凶案，发生在不同的地点，有不同的客串人物。
首季的3个故事将分别改编自：《Shroud for a Nightingale》，一名实习护士的死亡；《The Black Tower》，对一间异常的残疾人之家的调查；《A Taste for Death》，一名无家可归的养老金领取者和一名内阁大臣被发现死在一间教堂里。
原著共14本，首次出版于1962年，最后一本出版于2008年。该系列曾被多次改编搬上校荧幕。
